For Sure--Good'n Hearty!

I found this product last week at our local Big Lots store. I should have bought a dozen boxes! It's delicious! I believe it is much more hearty than the better known brands (which I have come to avoid). And look at the price - $1.00! I added raisins and microwaved it only a minute and a half instead of the suggested two minutes. If I can think of a few more errands to make the trip into town worthwhile, I think I'll buy some more before they are out of stock.

12 1/2 cents per serving? And here I was going to say you just bought it because of the white pitcher on the box! Looks like a good old-fashioned DEAL to me!

Is it a hot cereal, Rebecca, or cold? We have a Big Lots and if you recommend it, I might go and see if they have it. Thanks. Susan

Oh, it's a hot cereal, Susan. And if you like oatmeal, I highly recommend it - nice for convenience & single-sized servings...and it seems better than the other "instant" kinds. Seems more fibery-y....

The only thing about Big Lots is that (at least here) you never know if and what they'll have....

Oh I love Big Lots. I have noticed the prices inching up there over the past year.
I haven't trying much of the food there, I usually go to Aldis but I may give this a shot for a dollar! Love Di ♥

Di, I don't shop there regularly....can't even remember what I went in there for....but once there, I looked around and found this. I actually DID go back and bought all the boxes on the shelf!

I also noticed they have some interesting spices at a great price. Some were "Paula Deen" brand.

Rebecca's note: I have trouble with "deserve". I want to care for my body because God Himself cares for it! Do I "deserve" health? No, in light of my sinful inclinations and the fall of mankind, health is a gift. A GRACE-gift directly from the hand of God--a gift to be handled thankfully and thoughtfully.
