Further reading raised some red flags. Now, I don't necessarily agree with the extreme conspiracy theories about it, and I'm sure the "food plan" is probably a good one. I just didn't get that far.
Bottom line: There are NO magic bullets.
Exercise is essential to good health.
So is portion control, eating fresh fruit and vegetables and lean meat.
Kind of sorry to have brought up The Daniel Plan in the first place.
That is my believe also my friend. There is nothing magical about taking control of your body and feeding it and maintaining correctly!

It's good to evaluate various plans and either adopt them or "delete" them. It shows we are aware and that we can discern what fits.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, no magic bullet, just a lot of work! lol.

I just started a new exercise/eating plan this week. Well, it's not "new", I did it years ago with lots of success. So I'm hoping for the same results this time.
ReplyDeleteIt's very discouraging though, I'm remembering how Level 3 of the exercise regime used to be a piece of cake for me to do and now I can hardly get through Level 1. AND I used to use much heavier weights! Oh well, I'll just keep plodding ahead.
Good luck to you! God Be With you!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
