Transitioning into Spring

Almost every day of our vacation included trail hikes or nature walks.  Yesterday I rode in the car all day.  And this morning, exercise was gardening.  I need to be intentional about getting daily exercise now that the weather has changed.  I didn't gain any weight while on vacation--but I didn't lose any either.  I need to get at least 5 pounds off as soon as possible!

  3. Gorgeous photos of your trip. What a great and healthy vacation! Good for you getting out and hiking every day. I'm glad you didn't deprive yourself from partaking of some of those tasty menus. Now give yourself an "atta girl" for not gaining.

    Hugs, Jean

  4. We walked all around our old campus tonight... it was great exercise and what memories! All the rhododendrons are blooming as are the magnolias! Gorgeous time of year!
    Have a wonderful weekend, Rebecca!

  5. So glad for the update.
And I'm delighted for you at your success in keeping pounds off! Walking is a wonderful privilege we often take for granted.

I am REALLY struggling to rid myself of carbs and the pounds they pile on. Have been out-of-control since I got home from Kentucky. =(

  6. It sounds like you had a lovely vacation! For some reason I didn't do too well with "the climb" although I did do it faithfully. Sometimes the weight just doesn't seem to budge! I also would love to lose just a bit before my trip home to visit my family in Canada!
    Good luck to you Rebecca!
