Me. Yesterday. |
I have some work to do before warm weather sets in! Circumstances have overridden my determination and passion to GET fit and BE fit. And now, my summer clothes DON'T fit...
I was particularly inspired by Myra's post this morning. I can't say that there was anything "new" there...just solid stuff to encourage me not to give up.
Thanks. I needed that as well. Why, I wonder, is it sooo hard? I am crawling.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, the quest for fitness is a life-long one, for me. I try and re-try, begin, fail, begin again, exercise, eliminate most carbs, keep trying, add carbs again, hate the scale but use the scale, and on and on. But give up? Never. Keep up the good work in trying. You still look great. Susan p.s. I'm swimming two to three times a week and feel fabulous about that.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Susan! Swimming is a great (and sometimes relaxing) workout! Wish I had a pool/body of water nearby...
ReplyDelete"LORD, help me get back on track as well!"
ReplyDeleteRebecca, you look beautiful.....love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have been sick all winter and am really trying to stay focused on good nutrition and 30 minutes of exercise each day to renew my health. Something I started doing which helps me, is keeping track of my exercise each day and writing an affirmation about it. It's fun to go back and see how far I have come!
Hugs,
Mary
Thanks for the link to Myra's post. Didn't realize how "un"fit I am until I started grubbing in the flowers beds. Lots of huffing and puffing and stiff joints. Lots to do so being fit would be key to an optimal gardening experience this spring. Hope you are well and no more shingles!
ReplyDeleteDonna, I AM well. And my shingles are gone! (I CAN identify with the stiff joints, however.)
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of the Spring Fling....
ReplyDeleteI'll be back for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
You go girl!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Oh, Rebecca, I am right here with you. I need that help from above! Thanks for sharing,
