Hi Rebecca, thanks for visiting my 118 degree Post *winks*... yes, many were without power but thankfully not on my side of town. Not that it mattered, I chose to be outside most of the day like a Mad Woman! *LOL* Today its 'down' to 113, only in Phoenix can you say THAT! *Smiles* My Brother arrived today from California to celebrate our Mom's Birthday and he had forgotten how much hotter it is... it fairly took his breath away. *winks* I like your saying about Tree planting... so true.

Love the tree quote. Had we planted trees when we moved here.....we'd have apricots. 20 years ago, we didn't have money for trees.........because we didn't HAVE a money tree.

Rebecca's note: I have trouble with "deserve". I want to care for my body because God Himself cares for it! Do I "deserve" health? No, in light of my sinful inclinations and the fall of mankind, health is a gift. A GRACE-gift directly from the hand of God--a gift to be handled thankfully and thoughtfully.
