Maybe It Wasn't Actually a Plateau

After almost 2 weeks, I finally lost a pound! After consistently seeing the scale drop week by week, I got a little desperate and overly anxious when I went a week and then two without a loss. I tried to follow through with my plan - walking with more intensity and drinking more water. I didn't do any strength training, I'm sorry to report. However, I NOW have the apparatus beside my recliner and intend to begin today to employ it. So, maybe it wasn't actually a "plateau" I was on as much as the slowdown I should expect as I get nearer a healthy weight for me. But it sure was good to see the scale register a pound less!
